    I never asked anything of you.  I never demanded you
follow my rules, or restrained where your mind, heart or body went.  I wanted you to be free; an independent thinker, experience life with all its subtleties, and the Natural consequences of your decisions.  I didn't want to stunt your growth or enclose you tight in my perceptions of how life should be lived.   So...that's  
why...
I guess I could have shaped you more..told you how I at least felt about some of the things you did.  I guess I  could have told you my perception of Right and Wrong.
And I guess I could have laid down some...rules.  But I didn't.  I wanted you to be FREE.                                           SO. HERE we are.  You, free.  Me..not.  Just do me one favor.  Put the gun down.  And think...really think what can possibly happen before you sho....
